Timing spikes to 90 degrees when downshifting

I did a tf head and cam swap and after words the car does ok from 0-60 but from the 4th to 2nd downshift the timing spikes to 90 degrees and I get max retard. I think 30 some degrees leaving me in the hole. What can cause this? Maf maxing out all of a sudden? My maf does max out at 4000 on the 0-60 run but no side affects. Just when downshifting.

please email me a copy of your bin. maybe a bad value slipped in there. the throttle is closed the load is low. check the 0-16 gram area of the timing table at the aformentioned rpm range.
