"Minimum" laptop for chip burning?

Hey folks!
I've decided to venture into the realm of burning my own chips, but I wanted to know what kind of laptop I am gonna need. I've got a chance at a decent one from a friend, but I want to make sure it will handle the chip-burning software without locking up or hiccuping.
I am sure this has been talked about before, but I cannot find it in the SEARCH section.

Thanks in advance.

DOS-based PP software worked for my 486-75, but I know a guy that had real problems with a 486-66 desktop machine and the Win version of PP software. I'd just shoot for something 300+ so you can do other stuff with it as well (from the perspective of a guy running a 486-75 laptop, wishing for more)..
