Question about AutoXray KNOCK COUNT.

Anybody knows if the AutoXray scanner counts only bad knocks or is it supposed to increase all the time?

It is increasing on my veichle when i stand still and roars the engine.

Normal operation?

Car: GTA -89
Engine: Blown 415"
Transmission: 4L80E
Axle/Gears: Strange 12-bolt
Knock Sensor Range: 0 to 255
Knock activity noted by the ECM. When the value reaches the maximum
of 255, it jumps back to 0 and continues counting upward. It provides an
indication of knock and that a resultant timing adjustment has been made.
If the number is increasing during Monitor Mode, then knock is occurring.
On some engines the value will reset with each correction made.

I know what the BLM and INT are.
But what i don't understand is what the
"Block learn cell" parameter on my scanner means.

(The scanner also have the BLM and INT parameters)

It shows in what cell "you" are in .....

There are four RPM bands: 0-700, 700-1200, 1200-2000, 2000 & up.

There are four MAF bands: 0-12, 12-22, 22-34, 34 & up.

Cell 0 is 0-700 rpm, 0-12 g/sec, and so forth...
