Does anyone in or arround the Houston,TX area have a working pocket programmer?
I have a .bin that me and a buddy of mine made, and I have a couple blank chips, but my friend's programmer quit working for some odd reason. So, I was wondering if anyone wouldn't mind hooking up with me and helping me burn the bin onto the new chip?
Thanks,
Mike (1bad91Z)

Hi Craig, I've heard good things about you and your products! Are you familiar with the Houston area? I'm actually NW Houston, close to Tomball. Would you be interested in hooking up when you are down in TX? Do you have a cell phone? If so e-mail or PM me with your number and I'll give you a ring. I'm just trying to lean this new motor out some, right now I dont have the spare cash for the programmer or any other car related stuff for that matter, but I do have the new .bin made and a couple blank EPROM's (27C256-90), just no means of putting the bin on the chip.
Thanks,
Mike (1bad91Z)

I live in Baton Rouge, and have in-law family in Spring (TX) and Beaumont. I come over there occasionally (I like Houston though). Anything you wanna do via Email/mail that's fine too. It'll be months before I'm over that way past the visit discussed. Feel free to get with me offline if you need anything in particular. I can get you some stuff 'ahead' of your equipment purchase if you're interested...

Spring, TX is 15 minutes from my house! Anychance you will be in Spring over the holiday? Are there any better programmers than the xtronics pocket programmer II?

Z-Ghost - I may take you up on that offer!
I did however want to do this with someone in person, because I wanted someone with more experience than me to look at the .bin and see if anything is drastically off (I'm a newbie at this PROM stuff!).
I just need a little help right now until I can afford the programmer and up my learning curve.
Thanks again,
Mike (1bad91Z)

I can help with burning your bin onto your chip, might get expensive if you need more than a few done, the post office will love it though.
I do not think I will be much help with tuning advice if it's for the motor in your 91Z, I have worked on my 92 Z but it is mostly stock. I am still new to it also, I do have the Z running better and I am getting better gas mileage out of the old girl.
Getting ready to put a ZZ4 in my B4C and I know that will take some tuning to get it running right. That will be good experience for when I build the motor for the Z.
