Maf tables again

OK now just I read grumpys post on the GN site http://www.ajlc.waterloo.on.ca/cgi-b...2f200206%2f655 and so lost now.How do you know what the scaler value is for each table?

You have to get a commented hac of what code your working on and find the MAF table area. Then it will say what each scaler is for each table. Usually just prior to the actual table it will say the number of table entries there are and the corresponding scaler for that table.

OK I think I have it the scaler is the last entry in that table.Now lets say at idle my scaner is showing 15g/s.15g/s is in the second table would it be better to change the the first table to 0-15 g/s so the first table would be used?

Hmm,

Say your reading lean at 15 g/s.
What you'd want to do is find where that is in your existing table.
And increase that entry.

The g/s reading is the ecm telling you where in the calibration it's looking for figuring out the fuel.

Ok I get that now.One last question for now in that article you talk about increasing the resolution of a table when and why would you do this?
