I'd like to know what things can be adjusted by changing prom.
how adaptable is the system on a 90 formula 305 TBI? fuel rates? timing? rev limiter? idle speed? what else?

Dig around on www.tunercat.com and find the ECM you're running, he lists variables for each ECM supported.

Basic stuff found on most ECMs includes timing tables, WOT fuel and timing, torque converter clutch engagement/disengagement, fan on/off temps, and whatnot.
