Guaging interest in new package

I am just wondering how interested you guys would be in a complete prom tuning/burning package? I have a friend who is an electrical engineer and we got to talking. I asked whether he can build me an eprom emulator, programmer and ALDl cable to interface with my laptop. When I explained what this was for he asked if I'd be able to sell these devices?

Well I am asking would you guys be interested in everything needed to scan, emulate and burn your chips to come from 1 place for under $200 USD? This is a really an unofficial market survey....But I am curious. The more responses I get the easier to make a decision whether we do something or not!

Hope noone locks this, because in the end if we build and sell these kits, it would greatly benefit all thirdgen owners!

If you can build a low cost eprom emulator I would buy one!

I would love to see an all-in-one kit. It might influence a few people (like me) who are on the fence to jump off and do their own proms. My future mods will force me to do it, so a kit would be great.

Add my name to the list

I've always thought "one stop shopping" is a great idea. Keep the cost below $200 and you probably can't make them fast enough.

The project was put on hold for this summer....we will start up again in the fall/winter. Hopefully we can go to market early 2004 with a full line of ECU products/tools.
