Saturn- Wassup wit the Malibu Lately
Saturn,
Haven't heard how your doing on your blower project lately. Looks like I'll be following in you footsteps shortly. A freind of a friend, of a freind will be putting a 4:71 blower on a 305TPI in a similar configuration (off to the right bank) as yours. We'll be doing a $58 code in this one as well. By the time it's ready I'll have 500 burns into the blown 455 so I should have a pretty good handle on how to manage fuel and timing tables by then. The 455 is now driveable so the owner is going to finish the bodywork & paint so it is street legal. We need to start to get some street logging to work our way up through the VE table. I was out driving it the other day through the neighborhood. The freeking thing has no glass in it at all and I'll tell you at 10 deg F and 40MPH it's just too cold to be worried about data.
Hope your project is going well
Steve

As a matter of fact, did the first test fire of the twin setup. Once it purged the lines, she sputteed to life. Its not happy with a cold idle, but smooths out nice after a min or so. Once warm idles fairly well. Just ran it for a few minutes, just had time to mess with it. A quick rap to 4200 put 8 lbs on the dial. Going to be interesting once I shake the bugs out how close I get to a prediction. cheers, Bob
