I have hedman shorties and y pipe with ball and socket collectors on my l98 TPI. I can't get them to seal up at the heads with out leaks. Has anyone ever cut the flanges between the exhaust tubes to help them deal better? I've filed the flanges and used aluminum Percy's gaskets. At my wits end.

 

maybe try earls gaskets that have the graphite material that crushes down
