730 tables
730 tables
Hi,I recently switched to the 730,from 165.It has a million more tables.I have been tuning the 730 but wtf is all those tables??Is there some docs by tc or something?I have looked at the hak,it helps. But has anyone ever listed the tables and then thier functions?I don't totally understand assembly lang.I would imagine at least tuning software that cost should have a definition of the tables.??

There is lots of stuff in there you can just ignore.
Identify what your problem areas are and then look for things that might influence what your working on.
It takes alot of time to get to know all the tables, and how to manipulate them. You can generally get by with just using a few of them.
What needs done is a community effort of generating source code for the 730 so you can delete, and patch in things to improve the code. Now that would make life easy for lots of folks.

If I knew what the tables was at least could turned off if not needed.I guess I'm being too picky, cause I know the major tables.I just think someone(or tc) needs to make a doc that explains the tables functions. Not a tutorial on the effects but a general explanation.

Listen to what Grumpy said.
And what are you talking about "turning off tables"???
Thats the last thing you want to do.
Unless you know the ECM very well and know exactly what the tables are doing and why, you can not just turn off some stuff.
