Having hard time erasing 27SF512

Having hard time erasing 27SF512

I have a PP2 and everytime I try to erase these suckers it says it does it but doenst' verify blank.


Any Ideas?

if thats a flash chip just clear the buffer to all FF program it and try again.

I've been using them with PP2 with no problems.
Hmm.

Maybe too fast. or slow of processor in your computer?.
I hadn't used those in my 450 Hz machine, but on this 1.5G Hz they as well as 256s I've been using seem to program faster, with fewer errors.

Try programming it and then reading it and doing a file compare, and see what it looks like. If you have large blocks of errors then you might have something in the background running and trashs the programming. I now Cntl/Alt/Del and shut down everything but explorer, and then open PP2.
