Deleting Emissions Stuff (Part 2)

I read Grumpy's post about deleting emissions equipment from the chip, and have a few further questions. Since where I live doesn't require emissions equipment except catalytic converters, and since I'm swapping the TPI onto a non-emission carbed car, I am not using/have anything emissions related. Heres some questions:

1) To delete EGR I understand I flip off the diagnostic flag, I assume that is the EGR flag under the VSS&EGR diagnostic menu, do I have to uncheck anything else besides this one box? What do the b1,b2,b3 etc. flags mean? Which of these constants is the enable temp that I raise?: disable egr if MAT < X, EGR enable if TPS > X and EGR duty cycle!=0, EGR enable if TPS > X and EGR duty cycle=0

2)Does the ECM control the diverter valve, like if I have no airpump will I need to change anything in the chip to prevent a code?

3)To delete the charcoal canister/purge solinoid what would I go about doing to the chip? Basically I have the canister in there right now as a vent, I plugged both the fittings on the top and just left it in the car with the vent line still attached. I don't want to mess with adding a purge solinoid and everything.

4)Finally if the chip is for a car with A/C, and I don't have A/C, does that matter?

I think that covers everything I need to remove from the chip to get going, thanks for any help its greatly appreciated.

1) Set the diagnostic flag, and set the enable temp to like 24dF.

3) See #1, and remember the tank does need a vent.

4) No

For off highway use only, yada yada

As Bruce said, you need to modify the "Enable Temp" besides the "Diagnostic Switch" on any of the emissions equipment your remove. Setting the Diagnostic Switch only stops the ECM from reporting the problem - it still assumes the equipment is installed and may use it in calculation fuel.

As for the Air Divertor, it depends on the ECM/BIN. For TPI cars (8D and 6E), you also need to disable the Air Divertor.

Sorry, I forgot to mention I'm using a 165 ECM/ARAP BIN. So I understand I still have to turn off flags for the diverter valve and purge cansiter and raise their enable temps. What are these flags called? Flags labelled EGR and VATS are obvious, but what are the ones that have a B with a number next to it? Also which EGR enable temp do I raise, theres two, one labled EGR Enable if TPS > X & EGR duty cycle!=0 that currently has a value of 5.86 %TPS, the other one is labled the same except it doesn't have the exlamation point and it is currently set to 6.25% TPS. Thanks for your help, I'm still kinda dumb with this chip stuff .
