max Idle rpm
max Idle rpm
Winbin shows 7747 idle RPM Vs. temp numbers up as far as 3187 rpm.
Does anyone know if it will actually control RPM that high? I am looking to use the 7747 as a govenor to hold an old inline 6 cyl at 2000 RPM
I would have to start with the throttle blades opened up some and use the IAC for fine tuning.
Would it even start showing the TPS as open?

I kinda doubt your going to be able to *closely* maintain an exact 2K. Especially with any real load, or varing load.
Thou there is alot of IAC stuff to tinker with.

Might do alot better using a Cruise control to maintain that kind of speed.

I am only familiar with spedo cable type, is there a VSS type that might work better?
I like this idea.

Does the motor start with the IAC on a retracted position?
What is the total stroke an IAC can move? I could use it to move the throttle blades instead of the bleed hole....

At a full IAC count of 255 it's almost .25".
No, it's not that strong, if you want to do something like that then you would need a fly by wire throttle body, like the new vettes etc..
