746 to 730 swap?
I was thinking about swapping my 746 ECM in my 91 RS for a 730 from a 90-92 tpi.
Can I do this? will it hook right up? Not sure how a stock 27C256 chip would run my 5.0, or If I could copy my custom .bin from my 2732A to the 27C256 or not without any problems other than having to maybe double the .bin
anyone tried this?
I'm going to switch to a 350 and would like the have the Eeprom convenience of the 27C256

I've run TBIs on TPI conputers and the just aint any real gains to be made.
If you really want to use the EEPROM, then just get one of Craig Moates Switchers for a TBI (2732) prom. It gives you the option of doing 8 chips at a time.

Interesting, I didn't know that about the injectors, but If I get one of his switchers I could just double my bin from my2732A, and burn it onto the 27C256 and I would be fine then right?
