What type of program are you wanting to use? A two transistor will work with most programs. Go to http://moates.net select "software" and scoll down Craig has a couple of different schematics. If you are just wanting to buy one you can go and check out AKM cables.

Yeah, the 2 transistor cable is the easiest to build, and connects to your ALDL and plugs into your COM port on your laptop.

I might be wrong but you may not be able to use the Winaldl because it is for the 160 baud ecms. I am not sure about the tbi but Tpi uses 8192 baud rate ecm. Try Craig moates software or Datamaster.

He has a TBI car, unless his sig is innaccurate. The 2-Transistor cable and Craigs software are for 8192 baud ECMs.

Cool, then yuo can use the link I posted above. I have used both the cable and the software successfully on my 92 RS, with a 305 TBI. Good luck!

Yes, it will give you all the info you need. Speed, RPM, SES Codes, 02 values, all that stuff. Check out the site, it'll tell you all you need to know.

The cable is EZ to make. Do you know anyone with a soldering pen? It will take you litteraly all of 20 minutes to make one up, probably including the trip to radio shack for the parts
