749 ECM, Datamaster, and Two Transistor Interface

I just went for a 30 minute drive with my newly swapped 749 ECM and "THOUGHT" I was logging the same way I have done before with my 7730. Came home and tried to review the file and it is empty. Did not log. Am I supposed to use a resistor somewhere like the 165 ECM's needed or something?

No the resister is not needed.

I haven't used Datamaster with a 749 or a 2 transister interface, I have used Freescan and a 749 with a 2 trans verter without problems.

Well, I guess I will try again tomorrow. It seemed kind of buggy when I was linking up though. What baud is the 749 ECM?
