Im through with troubleshooting my engine problems, my problems lead me to believe its the eprom so instead of ordering a new chip I decided it was a better idea to get the equipment to make my own (after reading volumes of posts on the subject).

If the problem is the eprom I should be set and Ill have a spare 165 ecm since I thought originally my ecm was toast.

Should I keep my "spare" ecm or should I sell it? You guys are the pro's here and I respect your opinions.

Never hurts to have a spare, they easily fit under the seat. Can also use it for a test bench setup. This is the best part of OEM ECMS, they are inexpensive.

Keep it.
Once you have the car running in a given manner try the spare to make sure it's good, and then stow it.

Agreed, never hurts to have a spare of anything to test against.
