burned another PROM, now car won't start
Burned some of my first PROM's this past weekend and i got the car running alot better. Yesterday I made another one and put it in the car after making some IAC adjustments and the thing won't start now. I put the other program on the chip that worked before and it still won't run. It turns over and sputter a little bit. Anyone know what's going on? Is there a chance that I fried the ECM somehow? BTW, I tried jumping the ALDL to read any codes, but when terminals A&B are jumped, the SES light won't flash.
If the ECM were toast, it would give me a 'bad ecm' code wouldn't it?

All fuses are good. I checked the resistance of all of my injectors which are LT1 24# and they were all within the 14-14.5 range.

What bin are you using? Do you have VATS disabled? Could your SES light be burnt out? Try disconnecting the battery to clear everything.

Got the notch in the chip towards the end of the Memcal?
I put mine in backwards once. The SES light wouldn't come on and the fuel pump ran all the time. Wouldn't start either

It's an $6E ARAP bin with no VATS. The SES light comes on with the key. The arrow on the EPROM is facing the right way. Thanx for the help. Keep it comin!!

Do you have another chip? You said you put the old program back into the same chip, but I would try another chip. When I fried one of my chips, it did the same thing.
