870 to 730 swappers inside.

I was pulling the old MAF sensor wires, ECS module and cold start injector wiring loose from the loom to eliminate the unused wiring and components. I got my black knock sensor wire soldered to blue and taken are of. When I went to select wires from the MAF sensor to solder on the MAP connector I realised I had a 870 D10(black/white) that should be grounded for BD7 in the 730. So I checked my prinouts and figured out that I stopped after splicing together the injector wiring late one night.
Here is a copy/paste from mikes site about whats next:

Maf Burnoff relay - pin A MAS connector pin D
and MAF Pwr relay - pin D

Maf Burnoff relay - pin C B1 (12V and oil sw override)
and MAF Burnoff relay - pin E
and MAF Pwr relay - pin E

MAF Pwr relay - pin A MAS connector pin F
MAF Pwr relay - pin B D3 (Ground)
MAF Pwr relay - pin C B2 (FP signal)

New hookup
----------------------------------------------------------------------
D12 goes to Maf Burnoff relay - pin B

Removal (unused)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
C12 remove

What I am trying to figure out is which changes are needed to the old MAF wiring since I am going 7730? Looks like I need to engine ground D3 and B2 needs FP signal from something. I dont seem to understand him, unless he is using "Maf Burnoff relay" to describe the 870 Maf Burnoff MODULE?

Inside the car I have C12, D8, D12 and B11 leftover. I will be looking over diagrams and awaiting replies.

The MAF wires are sometimes used to bring the map through the firewall, there are 3 map wires and 5 maf so obviously you'll have 2 spare. the MAF burn off plug I just clipped right off the harness, none of it is used for a 730, you only use it for splicing into for the 165.

OK I got a few free minutes to lool all the pinouts over and check the GM bible. Looks like I have an issue with the D3 not being grounded. Because I could not get continuity there I overthought it and thought I needed to do some of the MAF splicing which only gets the MAF working on a 85 with 165 wiring. On D3 it should be grounded at G118 (behind the Head) then spliced at S143 then spliced again at S148. Talk about an issue that could explain some of my recent gremlins. Now I know the problem and can repair, these GM manuals sure are nice. I bought 2 off eBay for about $10 each, a 85 then a 91.
