using PP2. can move and verify the buffer directly from a chip in the PP2, but when i try to load, move, verify from a saved file on my hard drive, it fails to verify to buffer. have tried closing all programs and still come up empty. any help or suggestions on what is causing it not to verify? thanks in advance

It really sounds like Norton or something is running in the background.
What Operating System, and processor speed are you running?.
Maybe call Karl at Xtronics and see if they have any ideas.

have closed all programs and even tried using the program in safe mode. using windows 98 with an AMD processor. when using the new atmel AT29c256 chips on an 89 MAF system, how do i get the PP to program in the right half of the chip? i read the article about 10 times but unsure how to do it correctly. could someone spell it out for me. want to get burning ASAP. thanks again
