Burnin' first EPROM for 8746 ECM...

I just swapped my L03 305/T5 for a 350 HO/T56 combo, so I'm getting ready to take my first stab at burning an EPROM for it. Here's my initial plan...let me know if you have any other ideas:

* Just ordered some 27C32 EPROMs from Jameco...anybody know of someone that has them for less than $5.49 each? I saw some one ebay, but I wasn't sure if that would be a smart choice....
* I'm using GMECM software with the 6Ev010.ecu file
* I currently have an AXKW bin and I'm going to switch to an ANLU bin to get started
* Disable EGR by setting the "Disable EGR if MAT < X" to 255 (I no longer have EGR with my Vortec heads)
* Enable flags b4 and b6 on the "VSS & EGR Diag." group of flags (this is a first stab at getting my ECM and speedo to read my T56 40K pulses/mile output correctly...reference https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...T56+VSS+output...this one is sortof a stab in the dark, but I'm trying to get my speed corrected without having to buy a Dakota Digital box. I also believe this is what caused my car to sortof limp home after the swap since I was probably hitting the speed limiter with the car thinking I was going over 110 mph at about 5 mph
* Burn this modified ANLU bin to an EPROM, pop it in, and use WINALDL (already made the cable) to datalog and see what I need to change next

Once I get to this point, I don't have a clue YET...but I'm gonna keep diggin' through old posts and figure it out from there. I'll take any advice too, of course.

Does all of this make sense? Any changes I should make?
