Just Bought Burner (PIC)
Sure looks like one, and that was my thought too.
The PCB on the bottom-left is an adaptor to put surface mount chips in the burner; that's pretty new.
The ZIF socket is fairly recent as well, so it seemed odd that the software would be on a 5.25", but they still make the burner.
I got the data sheets for it off their website.
Somebody I know will have a 5.25 drive laying around to reclaim the data, if it's still good.
Otherwise, I'll harass the manufacturer for the software.
Dallas Semiconductor has joined up with Maxim-IC, and Maxim has fabulous service, so I'm sure something will work out.
Just grabbed it off Ebay, I don't physically have it yet.
