timing questions

is there anyway to fix the idle correction parameters with the spark table?

when im at idle my spark varies from 22 to 12 degrees... this also occurs when ive let off the throttle and the tps is at 0 % no matter the speed or rpm, instead of following my tables its all wacked out

is this normal?

In short, yes.

The ecm idle algorithm uses the timing to help maintain a steady smooth idle rpm.

I think there have been other postings about how to disable or tune it, but not sure...
