Can you please take a look at this?

I really do not know how to interpret this data to figure out how my car is running. I suspect from driving it, and from knowing that I have 24# injectors with a chip calling for 22# that the car is running rich. Also, why in ***'s name does my car register 85% throttle from the TPS when I am standing on the pedal and holding it to the floor (with no floor mat in)? This makes for some bad quarter mile times, becuase I am never getting to the WOT tables in the chip.

I am definetly in the market to buy a new chip, one custom burned, and I need to know exactly how far off my car is from being in tune.

Here is the Excel file of the logged data from one of my run's.

Data logged from run 1

Thanks a lot.

What is the voltage your TPS is seeing at WOT?

How do I find out what the voltage from the TPS is?

Hook up a digital volt meter to the TPS. Turn the car to "On" then floor it.

Theres a tech article on how to do it.

It's a bit hard to see from that data log what the Oxygen sensor readings mean (there's a ? next to the O2S heading even, so it doesn't look like whoever wrote the software was confident about their conversion).

But, if the O2S readings indicate stoich at 128, then you can see the readings go down real low when you floor it (eg, elapsed 252.82), with the BLM's locked at 128- so it at least looks like the ECM assumes it needs PE.

Not only does it appear that you don't get a TPS over 86%, but you don't get one under 11%. Some of the scan tools allow you to adjust these readings. Which scan tool are you using?

Some of your coasting (?) BLM's are down at 110, indicating that it's plenty rich there.

So it looks like the ECM is trying to correct for big injectors under closed loop conditions, and running out of adjustment. Under PE conditions, it looks plenty rich if the assumptions about the O2S conversion above is correct.

Yea, I definetly need a chip with the injector constant set for 24# not for the 22#'s that i don't have anymore.

I also need t adjust the TPS and then run again, cause the numbers can be different when I am truley at WOT (100% throttle).

I used something that came in a zip file called ALDL 165. I don't think its Win ALDL because it is a DOS program. Anyone know where I can get something better to use?

I would download the latest version of Moates software
www.moates.net

It's much better done and the log file is complete.

You TPS should be at or near 0% at idle and over 90% at WOT, not sure if you can ever really hit 100%. The ECU assumes you are in PE over 70%. (atleast for the ARAP 165)
