Help!!!!! MY Pocket Programmer 2 Burned For No Reason whatsoever. it started when i plugged in the programmer to use it today. well when i ran PP2 Software it said programmer not found it thought it was my machine, so i restarted and i tried again. no dice. shortly there after it started smelling and i quickly disconnected the programmer. well i smelled the programmer and the smell originated from it. DAMN. that was maybe the 10th time i used it. i only plug it in when i use and disconnect after every use. well on to what maybe wrong with it.


i dissasembled my pp2 and on the back of the PCB, the transistor? black, small, half cylinder shaped thing is deformed(burned). i ran a search and is that a 2N2222 that everyone has problems with? just want to make sure. i think i may have caught it in time. nothing else is apparently damaged. i hope that's the only thing wrong with it. thanks guys i need my programmer working again .
