data stream

On a 91 1228746 TBI ecm, Which pin is the data stream on the ALDL on? M or E? And I heard about having to use a resitor to jumper somewere? I have searched but could find the answer. Thanks

No resistor required. The data pin is E, ground is A.

Thanks for helping. That must be why I don't see anything on the laptop; I was in the M pin for data.
