Just Begining

I love tinkering with my car and I am into computers so tuning my car sounds fun to me. How much would it cost to get all of the parts I needed to burn my own chips and such and how hard is it to get an improvement out of your car??? MY car is in my sig.

Here is a great place to start https://www.thirdgen.org/newdesign/tech/promintro.shtml to find info. Also at the top of the DIY PROM board there are a few articles that will help.

It depends on how resourceful you want to be. $75 to $250 is about the range.

What do you call an improvement?. ET wise might not be much, MPG can show some pretty good gains, for me drivibility is critical, and to me, I'll take one of my chips over anyone else's anyday.

Well if I keep modding my car I will need to tune it to the mods correct?? That would show an improvement in E.T right?
