Now that I solved my misfire problem, I can start seriously tuning for performance and efficiency.

However, there's a lot of functions and tables not covered in the help section. I'm not sure what they do, but I'd like to know. Is there any other documentation someplace that describes all of these other tables?

Thanks.

Knowing what code you're running would help. What tables do you want to know about? Reading the hacs will help you to understand what some of these things are for, if its not obvious.

Oops. Yeah that would help. I'm running a 7730 ECM. Specifically, I'm looking at all of the Accel Enrich functions and how they interact with eachtother. Is there some sort of equation they all fit into to determine the final value?

Wow, just checked out your ride.. that is freaking sweet..

I love those years. I really like the G machines too.

I probally will get a hard time for saying this but stick to the VE PE and maybe a few AE tables and you'll be fine as far as fueling goes.

AE works like a acclerator pump

The Two main accel enrichment tables you will use will be ..
AE DELTA TPS VS. RPM. Which would be like the cam lobe on a carb pump.
And DELTA MAP TABLE. Which would be like how much play there is in the pump arm. Meaning how much throttle you can give before AE is used. < that table probable being the most important for the mini ram intake.

Funstick did a big write up on functions of AE that was pretty in depth - Grumpy has as well.

Ahhhhhhhhhhh...... :hail: :hail: :hail: :hail: Now we're getting somewhere.

How can I find these papers? I already understand the basic function of the AE tables (EFI analog to the carb accel pump), but there are so many different tables that apparently contribute to the overall enrichment value and I'm having difficulty understanding how each one contributes. There's also a couple of constants in the constants table (AE Delta scale factor and AE delta PW scale factor) that also have some bearing on the final value too. There has to be some sort of grand equation to figure it all out!

Glad I could have helped!
Search under Funstick user and DIY Prom board and go through his titles..
Like I said the 2 that will really concern you will be the delta tps and delta map Delta = change.
The problem mini rams run into is the lack of runer velocity causing a bog off idle. Generally changing the delta map to a lower value helps alot = less throttle opening before AE is active.
And increasing the values of delta tps higher = meaning more fuel per TPS movement.
Also getting your VE tables straightened out helps those alot as well.
You will find once you do that you will need less of the delta TPS.
Ohh yeah, That is a nice car to.:hail:

The DIY-EFI site is down... apparently has been for some time now. I can't get to the archives. Is this info here on this site anywhere?
