Disabled Hwy mode?
After my whole WBO2 hac debacle, I got the car running using the AUJP bin instead of the AXXC bin I should be using for a manual car. Took the car on the highway today, and noticed that my AFR was around 14.2:1 the whole time I was on the hwy. It fluctuated of course, but that was an average.
I also burned through a quarter tank of gas in about 60 miles or so. Not normal for my car. So I'm thinking because I'm using the AUJP bin, that something is not playing nice and allowing the computer to enter highway mode. Its just a guess, but I figure one of you prom guru's would know something about this.
Other than that, the car is running a lot better. Still some bugs to fix for the idle, but I'm thinking that is partly due to the auto chip

Not a guru but ill take a stab at it. It may very well be in HW mode but the tuning is off and the actual afr's your getting are differing from the commanded afr in the ecm. From my experiences, the blms lock and the ecm just uses the VE tables to calculate the fueling. If those are off, so will the AFRs when in HW mode.

It doesn't target a given AFR.
Cats need to cycle rich to lean to keep working so even in a lean cruise, they ocassionally drop out of lean to run rich for a little bit, again to keep the converter lit.
At least in what I've seen.
