"PE % change to fuel/air vs RPM" vs VE tables.

When you start to tune your car after some serious uppgrades, like heads, cam etc etc.
Do you often leave the factory settings in tabels like coolant temp corrections, air temp corretions PE corrections? Or do that also need som tuning when start to mod the car?

Mainly why I ask is that in tuner cat I look at the tabel "PE % change to fuel/air vs RPM", there I can see a that GM ( for my car a TPI 1991 corvette ) has used a large value right where the stock cam makes most power, +11.3 @ 4400rpm.
That makes sence. But that also needs to be tuned with my new cam i guess? Or perhaps you can leave it and use the VE tabel instead, but would that mess up the "target AFR"?

This make me wounder how many other tables that need to be tuned.

Im using blms for part time tuning, and a WB for my WOT runs.
And with just using the VE tabels and Main spark advance I get some good results. But berhaps I doing it all wrong and I start to mess upp stuff..

THank you...

Once you have the big stuff nailed down then it's all about experimenting. Seeing what little changes help with your application.

Some cars are more cold blooded then others, and like having the cold run stuff richened up. Some need alot more AE when cold. It's a matter of how you drive, where your live, and the gas available. What works for me, isn't what works for everyone else.

Small changes, take notes, experiment, and have fun.

So could it be wise to zero out the tabels and start fresh? After you get the VE sorted?
