Chip Burning Problems
I got everything together to burn chips, but now I have a problem. I can't retrieve the bin file from the 16151348 chip that I'm using in my 91 Trans Am. This chip has worked great except for the fact that the injectors are #24 and it's running very rich in the 350. I have a moates adapter, but unless I can get someone to point me to a bin file that I can start with I will have to do some soldering work anyway. I have searched and looked through the bin library, but I haven't found the 16151348 bin yet. Does anyone know where I can get this file or one that will be comparable to it?? This is my final hurdle to get into diy chips. Thanks for the help.

I think I'm going to give the bin file in this thread a try as a starting point. I'll have to change the injector constant and see if my cam will affect it, but I believe it should work.

I've tried to burn this bin into my chip with a willem programmer, but I keep getting a Error Write Sector 0 message. Anyone have any idea what is causing this?

I have a Willem 3.1. I can't get it to read or write. The only thing I have accomplished with it is to erase a 27SF512. Anyone else have this happen and know a fix? Should this thing be thrown away and replaced?
You should be able to read the chip as that should not be a problem. What is the problem is programming chips then the programmer has to support it. Because some chips require different voltages.
I used a 20year old erpom programmer to read my data off a 128 chip and it read it fine. But could not program on it.
