Arrrgh, datamaster and Diacom won't connect (did search)
Ok, I have tried Diacom and datamster on my 92 vette. Neither will link with the car. I have tried all the fixes I could find on the net. All the swithced for diacom, cleared the codes in the PCM, tried a couple different laptops, etc... Diacom will kick on my fuel pump when it tries to log info, and it can flash codes via the SES light, but that's it. Al it ever does is say, "linking."
I disabled all the handshake stuff for datamaster, and still get nothing. All dtamaster does is say no sync with PCM, recycling 1, 2, 3...
Anyone know how to see if my PCM is on its way out, or if my port is bad?
Any other idea's?

Verify in your laptop's BIOS that the serial port is enabled and has no conflicts. What OS are you running?

Download ( DM32xDA ) from:

What ALDL cable do you have?
The Mastach ALDL cable will work with Datamaster and early LT-1 vettes.

I have been in the BIOS and made sure all the comport stuff is OK.
I am using a cable from AKMcables.com
Diacom runs in DOS, I've only tried Datamaster in Winblows XP. maybe I should try Winblows 98?

No, I couldn't get Diacom to work. Or datamaster. That's my problem, lol.
I guess I should of been more clear. I used a Diacom cable for diacom, and an AKM cable for datamaster. I called Rinda and verified that I had the right cable and proper adapters for my car.

Also, I was able to get TunerCat to link to the AutoProm (linked to Romulator) but TunerCat indicates that it isn't synchronized.
What gives?
