2 Transistor Cable Issue
I am having trouble getting the link on my 1991 Z28 with the 730 computer. I am using Moates software but I can not get it to link up. I was thinking this program is having trouble with my laptop. I can open it and get it running and I keep pressing 1 but not link. It keeps saying it can not link in the window. I am not using the resistor between A and B pins. Also, I using pin M for the 730 computer. I can go over to my 1988 suburban and use my aldl 160 cable and same serial port com1 and winaldl software. It works like a champ. Does Moates software have issues with XP. Do I need to start up in DOS. Any Ideas? Thanks, Brandon

That's right, it won't work in XP or NT/2000. Might look at TunerPro R/T. It has logging built in now. Works with the new USB ALDL adapters, too.
