VE Tables

OK,
I have the Mega Squirt system and it comes with the VE tables already progrmaed in. I would like to see some screen shots or find out what the stock VE tables are for the 305 and 350 TPI tables. Of course I will alter them but I need to know where the car started from. If anyone can give accel enrichments that would be great too. I did a search but did not find any complete tables. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure they are apples and oranges number wise. You'd probably be better off looking at a dyno chart of a similar engine.

Start with what they gave you. There are way too many differences just from car to car never mind system to system, to try and infer much. Start off slow, take lots of notes.

I had not thought about looking at a dyno graph of a similar engine. That is a great idea. I will be taking lots of notes. I can take screen shots also so I will be doing that. Is there another thread or article that talks more about this (please don't just say this board)?

AE is vehicle specific. Too many variables. Trans, gears, plenum, injector size, vehicle wt are some of the variables. You can compensate for AE with rt foot control. Till you get the VE curve close.
A dyno curve would be a rough starting point. If it shows VE. Not all dynos have an airflow meter. It's an option. How close the MS code is to real VE, no idea.
From reading the MS site, they say that they at least started and idled with whatever the base progam was. IF your cam is a little big, then you might need a little help. Just a matter of tweaking the settings a little. No different than any other initial startup with a new combo. Just fewer people that have done it before.
This site is for GMECM's mostly. You'll need to go to the MS site for help. For theory and pratical help, well there are a few people here for that. If you want to know how or when to test/tweak a table, this is one of the places to go. You just have to word the question right. For hard numbers, well this is DIY...
There are stickies at the top for the basics on the various tables.
You can read those for the tuning basics as well as DIY-EFI.org.
Does MS have a logging feature? If not,DAQ $25 for four channels.

Thanks again. I am already a member at the yahoo Mega Squirt website. There are a few people on here who are running a MS. I still need to PM them. Thanks.
