Hey guys,
I was putsing around the ARAP bin tonight, basically compiling all the differences between it and a stock 89 GTA 5.7 auto bin, i'll post those when I am done, and the Shift Light flags caught my attention.
Is there anyway to use the shift light settings in these bins to light and actual light? If so, how....where would it wire from?
Not sure if it's possible on an auto car...but it would be cool.

I was thinking about this before, it is a cool idea because you can use the trigger wire from the ecm to light an aftermarket shift light. After doing some research I found/heard that on auto cars the shift light circuit is actually used for the tcc. This might be wrong I don't know how reliable the source was. Hopefully one of the pros will chime in and shed some light on the subject.
i think you might be right....but just in case...anyone else???

TCC, and shift light use the same wire.
One or the other, at least in the stock code.

does that mean that with the auto I can't setup a shift light. Or can I?
