How do I know what PCM I have?

I have a 94 LT1 PCM.. how do I find out if its a 129760 blah? IE I want to explore the public domain .bins to get enough stuff to try programming without paying $100ish.. But hey if I find I can do it.. then I may opt for a program like tunercat.
thanks.

I'm almost to the point of firing my LT1.. but of course I made some mods
no smog
no vats
no auto tranny or computer monitored tranny

so i doubt if it will fire up ..

and this computer thing has me totally lost at this point.. mind you I can program a bit of Visualbasic.. so prgramming is not new to me.. but right now its like reading german with no dictionary.

At the Tunercat site they have a listing of what ecm/pcm is used in what appplication, then look at your's to make sure the numbers match, and they you'll also know the Mask involved.

If it's flash, then there's no freeware, that I know of.

I have a PCM which is supposed to be from a 94 Firebird LT1. How can I know what it is for sure? I don't see any numbers at all on it.

TunerCat says that should mean I have either a 16181333 or 16188051.. Or does this even matter? Can I just use 1 or the other?
