Good Fuel PSI for Tuning

I got my act together and ready to start data logging but I was curious on the fuel pressure. This is a 1991 Z28 5.7 Hot Cam with stock ported tpi. I am running 24# from Accel but burned a chip for them. Also, I disabled the EGR. I am currenly runnning 46 psi. Is this too much pressure or not enough. I want to get a good constant before I really start changing things. Any ideas. Thanks, BranZ

I use 42, just cause it works out to be close to 3 bar. I just run em all the same, so in my lil world, I always know what the baseline is. And the larger the guage face the easier and more accurate it is to use. Might get a Autoclown cheap setup, and then just when you find one, update to a 4" liquid filled one.

When you say 3 bar what does that mean. I assume you are referring to the MAP sensor. What is the relation between the two? Any information would be helpful. Thanks, BranZ

Bar is equal to about 14 PSI.
A 1 bar map is for a N/A application.
A 2 bar map for a boosted application up to about 14 PSI of boost
3 bar map for about 30 PSI of boost.
