Silly question
Silly question
I'm researching how to burn my own chips and have ran across something rather confusing. I see the abbrevations BLM and BIN used a lot, what do they mean? Also does anybody know where I can find a list of abbrevations and what they stand for?

BLM = block learn multiplier, a learned fuel correction.
bin = slang for a calibration file (which are usually in binary format, so the filename is ".bin")
A list of abbreviations is at:

Thanks for the quick replys. This crazyness started after I installed a Holley 670 CFM TBI on my Blazer and encountered a few problems. I'm working with Brian over at TBI chips to burn me a chip to shorten the base pulse width and enrichen the pumpshot to cure the problems until I can really start screwing things up by burning my own chips. I realize I've got a lot to learn and am having a hard time finding the information I need in order to lean about this. Looks like I've found a new hobby to throw my $$ into.
