Unplugging O2 sensor
If I burn a chip to keep me in open loop and I unplug the stock O2 sensor to replace it with my wide band, will it throw a code? Id just go check myself, but the car is in storage till Fri
Thanks for any help!

I'm not a TBI guy, but I'd think that when you burn the open loop chip, just disable the O2 sensor diagnostic flags (DTCs 13, 44, & 45, IIRC) and you should be good to go.

You want to set the Closed Loop, Coolant temp enable to the max., and then disable the flags for codes 13, 44, 45.
I think there was some mention in other threads about the some items being related to closed loop.
