swaping to speed density in my 91

swaping to speed density in my 91

i started off with tbi in my bird, and then got a 87 tpi complete with ecm

but now i wnat to put speed density on it

can i use my comptuer from the 91 ? i dont know what one it is but i took a pic of the sticker on it, i wuld just need to get a chip burned right ?

No, you'll need a 1227730 ECM (or equivalent, P/N 16196344 or 16198262 are essentially the same thing).

Yes, the '90 through '92 V6's and TPI V8's all use the '7730 ECM. Will have to use a V8 MEMCAL though.

Also, if you're at the junkyard trying to find a '730, note that it doesn't need to be from an F-body. '730 ECMs are very common in late '80s/early 90's 2.8L and 3.1L FWD cars.
