I want to record the tach signal with my LM-1 wideband. Can I use the B5 wire on the 165 ecm to do this?

There is a good possibility that this will work. It is a 0-5v square wave signal. Just do the best to keep noise off of the wiring.

Success!

I was able to use the B5 EST reference signal for a tach signal for my LM-1 Aux converter. It took a few tries to 'teach' the converter but it works now.

To the track tomorrow for AFR tuning
