FnB for dummies!

Ok, I've got a 29c256 I'm trying to program. Couple questions.

1) What address should I start/end if I'm burning a 2732a bin to the 29c256?

2) When I put the actual 29c256 chip on the FnB, does it matter about orientation, if it starts from the bottom/top (with the usb coming out the top)?

3) I've tried every which way, and I can not get the FnB software to burn this chip. If I tell it to read, it says -

Reading Device into buffer...
PROM I/O succeeded.
Erasing Device...
ERROR: Erase Command returned failure.
Programming Device from buffer...
ERROR: PROM I/O returned failure.

This is all I'm getting. Where's the user's manual for this?

1) $7000 - $7FFF

2) Orientation *absolutely* matters. You can burn up the FnB if the chip is in backwards. The chip should be placed with pin 1 towards the top of the ZIF (the top being where the handle is), and with the chip placed all the way towards the bottom of the ZIF (the base of the chip is on the last set of pins in the ZIF). For a 29C256, this means you'll have extra pin groves between the chip and the handle. Hope this makes sense.

3) Not sure why you'd be getting intermittent erace cycles like this.
