Problems with datamaster $58 and 730

Ok to start off my car was originally a MAF system (165) then I swapped to the 730 ECM a few years back, now I just finished installing my blower a week ago and I swapped to the $58 code. Car seems to run ok but for the life of me I can't get datamaster to run with the car. I think I even tried freescan to and no go, but I can get tuner pro to work Now I would really like to get datamaster to work here because it seems like the best scantool to use, but I just can't get it to work. If I program a 730 chip and install it then run the 8D datamaster program it will link up so I'am pretty sure my cable works (two-transistor). I tried multiple bins, stacking bins, and even a few stock $58 bins When I use the test com option in datamaster I get aldl adapter working, early PCM detected. I don't know what else to tell you, maybe should i try to find a 749 ecm and see if that makes a difference, any ideas because I'am pretty much lost?

I just got a email responce back from Mark A 91Formula from a message I sent him a few days ago, datamaster will now link up Heres the msg he sent me so if others run into the same problem they might be able to do the same to get it to work.

"To get everything working right for me I had to play with the Serial Communication Timing, the Timeouts etc, Don’t know the exact settings but the big one wa ALDL link timing, Also Disable both CCM handshake and Dash refresh, Not sure if the aldl circuit would be part of the issue, butl I was using the more advanced circuit also. Another thing is the quality of ther connection, when I was using the $58 code it was never truly reliable until I spliced directly into the cars ALDL lines."

I just disabled both CCM handshake and Data refresh and it did the trick, thanks Mark!!!
