Programing chip and info EEPROMs sound better?

ser. No: 16168625

Trying to learn chip buring and what is needed and how to determine if EEProms can be used on my 350 V8.

Stock rebuilt 4 bolt main 350 with a small cam 212-218 444 Lift, balanced and HYP 40 pistons around 9.2-9.25 compression. Did not do the math but using HYP H345NP Pistons with 76 c heads shaved .020 amd smaller .015 gasket, better quench and compression.

I would of liked to use a 262 Ex. Comp Cam with newer design, but this is only major change other then flow master exhaust and reason we were not sure about more lift on exh side of cam. Like LSA 112 cams, but Summit offered a nice dual patter cam with more lift, but stayed with a baby cam for now!

Any suggestions welcome and your site is very interesting as I tried TBI first was unsure about where to go as TBI was acting up and chip, Stock, needed changes after excepting TBI suggestions.

There's a whole series of stickies at the top of the board that'll answer all your initial guestions, plus some.
Sources for parts, etc..

The more well read you are, the better the guestions you can ask, and the better the answers you'll get. Unlike most other boards there's some homework, here. Well, if you really want to get into this stuff. There's a pretty good network of folks willing to help ya out if you have problems.

The 16168625 is a nice lil PCM.
I have it's slightly newer brother in my truck, and really like it.
