Anyone know where I can find an $16 ECM definition file or a good link on creating your own?? The service number is 1228322 ADLC. Can someone please help me out on this one?

Thanks in advance

You might try subscribing to the DIY_EFI or GMECM mailing lists, and asking there.

www.diy_efi.org has subscription links.

And not to sound overly rude, but this is a THIRDGEN F-BODY BOARD. So, unless this ECM is being installed in an '82-'92 Camaro or Firebird, it'd be most appropriate for you to ask your questions elsewhere.

You know I have tried and I think you are being overly rude. I really don't see any problem with me posting on this board. I have found it to be one of the best in programming PROMs. And I do plain to be working on a 3rd Gen. ECM. So if it bothers you that bad why don't you complain to the administrator instead of me.

One of the things is that at least the efi system has to be at least somewhat related to those used in thirdgens. While some peoples setups are in the grey areas of the strictly thirdgen only yours is in that shade of gray normally known as charcoal.

All joking aside, your best bet would be to maybe see if its possible to use a more widely known ecm in your application. The cadillac ECM your reffering to probably hasnt seen much action so its unlikely youll find anything for it.

CaddyDaddy, your first two posts were locked due to being off topic and expecting a little too much. As a moderator of this board my theory is to let folks go ahead. However, being that you are posting about a subject far from a ThirdGen F-Body, and (note this) demanding an answer, it is being taken as arrogant.

If posting about a subject far from the boards intent, be grateful that you receive an answer. If you did not receive an answer, then it may be in your best interest to try a board that specializes in your engine/ECM/transmission combination.

RBob.
