749 low impedence conversion

I am looking to run 8 low impedence injectors. I am looking to use a GM prom. I found this site: http://mywebpages.comcast.net/p-928/749mods.html . will i be able to do this conversion on a 730, or are they completely different? if not, what cars came with the 749?

any other solution to running low impedence injectors under boost are a HUGE help. thankyou for your efforts.

ACCEL manufacturers a devise called the VIC. It allows for running P+H injectors, and individual injector PW trimming.

Check out Acceleronics - The owner has one of the fastest blown 4th gens on the left coast, and had the same dillema, so built the Versifueler to solve the problem. Lots of the big tuners are using the versifueler these days.

Hmmm.... looks like a nice product, but around 275$ more than a 749 and conversion, but alot easier....

You must have a 7749 to do the conversion shown in that website. 7730s only have one injector driver, whereas 7749 has two, as shown in the photos. Now, if you were able to figure out a mosfet that does the job of two, it _MAY_ work. But I'm no EE...
