LS1 25# Injectors And Fuel Mileage

well guys i have a couple of questions for you guys with the LS1 25# injectors. have any of you noticed a drop in fuel mileage? i was looking at the stock AUJL bin and Highway Mode is enabled by default on $6E. this could cause a major loss of MPG do to highway modes open loop operation + the larger injectors running on a stock bin. i used to get pretty decent mileage with my stock 22# LEAKING injectors but it runs a hell of alot better now with a loss of MPG.

i was running it with highway mode on for a while and have turned it off for now. i have turned off highway mode since having it on (atleast with the stock bin) was causing a loss of MPG correct?

well i have everything pretty much dialed in where i want it on my $6E. granted tuning was done with the almighty butt dyno and track runs. only fueling on the bin i have played with is the startup fuel, injector constant set @ 24.94# and PE mode. now i really want to bring the MPG back up and beyond stock. i have the base timing set @10*. all sensors/solenoids have been replaced AIR system is intact and fully functional. also EGR is in good working order.

what tables and/or constants have to be "trimmed" in order to compensate for the larger 25# injector. what is the best way to get the MPG back? all suggestions are welcome.

Basically you hit it on the head. I don't know anyway of doing it with out feed back to know where you are.

I see you have to adjusted your injector constant for the larger injectors. This may bring it closer to the proper tune, however with out the data, you may still be too rich, thus using more fuel than needed.
