What VSS for 1990-92 '730 ECM?

I understand that it's a 4-pulse VSS. What type of sending unit does it use? Is it a Hall-effect unit or a Reed type sending unit?
Any other pointers?

The one I am using

I purchased an aftermarket one that (I think) was the same as an old OEM unit. www.jagsthatrun.com (Stealth conversions)
The number was " 4PAC INTEGRAL" it has a cable drive and the 4 pulse per rev. magnetic pulse generator. I needed to keep the cable drive intact for my speedo.
It was about $90 from memory but is working good.
The mating connector was Delco PT-120, or GM #12085498.
They also helped me out with the selection of the drive gears to get everything to about 1% error. (or at least that what it should be).
Hope that helps.

Edit: to answer that question, I'm pretty sure this one is a reed type.

It is an A/C generator. Has a coil of wire where the ends are the signal leads. A magnet rotates within the coil.
