AE surging in low RPMs

I tried giving it more fuel and less fuel with AE Delta Map, and AE Delta TPS vs. TPS.

I have also tried changing the % Decel fuel (I forgot the table - it's the slope to turn off AE). As I change this, I lose post acceleration, so I don't THINK this could be it.

Anyhow, always in the lower RPM (800 - 2000), I get a pulsing kind of accerlation. Then after 2000 it's all good. I am leaning towards my VEs as being off, but they appear to be good (around 125 - 130).

Perhaps I have my delta MAP too far, and my Delta TPS vs. TPS not far enough?

Thanks.

are yo working with $8d code. If so there is a MAP AE scaller value in the constants. you might want to play with it and the TPS AE scaller as well. sometimes i find that engines go into Ae to late or to soon based on load changes. give that a shot and mae sure to note your starting setings.

Sorry, $8D

I played with the AE Map scaler and (as I recall) I went too lean and too rich before when I tried one or two 100ths points changes. This was before I changed the TPS and MAP deltas.

I will look at it and try again though. This will mean I have to change the Delta TPS and Delta Maps to compensate... correct?

Thanks.
