Factory stock bin files?

I'm trying to get my 350 converted from carb to TBI. I'm also trying to learn how to tune and burn my own PROMs. Is there someplace I can download a factory stock bin file for a 350? I found some over at GM-ECM, but it doesn't really say if they are factory stock or somebody's custom versions. I'd like to have a sane baseline to compare against.

Also, how do I decode the filenames that go with the bin files? Somehow the engine size and other stuff is encoded in there...

Thanks for any help. I did search on this stuff by the way...

I just like this one :-)

All the info that u seek is here. And tons of bin files are at diy-efi.org

All the broadcast codes are here in the faq as well(the 4 letter code yourt looking for that determines vehicle app).

Cut a newbie some slack man, sheesh.

I guess I just don't know what to search on then. Searching on "broadcast code" didn't lead to anything useful. I found this page for cross-ref:

http://www.cruzers.com/~ludis/p4xref.html

But it has no 7747 stuff.

I saw the bins at diy-efi, but there is nothing saying whether they are stock or what, and besides I'm stuck with no decoder ring to figure out what they're from.

Okay, found it. So, for anyone else who searches this in the future: This link has 7747 broadcast codes:

http://www.cruzers.com/~ludis/c3xref.html#1227747

Although I'm not sure what the difference is between all the different 5.7L codes.

The bin files are here:

ftp://ftp.diy-efi.org/pub/gmecm/bin_lib/1227747/l05/

I think they are supposedly stock. I was warned that some have errors, so maybe a person should be careful about actually using them.
